Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ADRT GROUP LTD, the company that operates Metch ("Metch", "we", "us"), collects when you use the Metch app and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information you give us

Account: your email address and name.
Job search details: the roles you want, location, pay, shifts, experience, licenses and certifications, and your answers in the onboarding quiz.
Resume and documents: resumes you upload, paste, or build, and the documents we create with you.
Messages: what you write or say to the assistant and to support. When you use voice, the audio is converted to text and then deleted; we keep the text, not the recording.
Activity: jobs you search, view, save, hide, rate, report, or mark as applied, and your interviews and reminders.

2. Information collected automatically

Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and a device identifier used to keep you signed in.
Approximate location if you share it, used to find jobs near you. We don't track your location in the background.
Usage and diagnostics, such as which features you use and error reports.
Clicks on job listings, which we log to measure usage and to settle accounts with job sources.

3. How we use information

To provide the Service: find and explain jobs, write and tailor resumes, run interview practice, send reminders and alerts, and remember your preferences.
To run subscriptions and usage limits.
To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse and fraud, and filter harmful content.
To answer support requests.
To improve the Service, for example by fixing bugs and measuring which features help.
To send you product updates and job tips if you agreed; you can unsubscribe anytime.

4. AI processing

To generate replies, resumes, and feedback, we send the relevant parts of your information (for example, your resume and your message) to AI service providers that process it on our behalf. We use providers whose terms don't allow them to use this data to train their models.

5. How we share information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, AI processing, email delivery, subscription management through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, analytics, and customer support), under contracts that limit their use of it;
with job sources when you open a listing (they see that the visit came from Metch);
when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Metch;
as part of a merger, sale, or similar transaction, with notice to you.

We never send your resume to an employer unless you choose to.

6. How long we keep information

Voice recordings: deleted right after they're converted to text.
Chat history: up to 12 months after your last activity.
Job click logs: up to 24 months, for accounting with job sources.
Temporary files: up to 30 days.
Everything else: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.

7. Your choices and rights

See and delete what the assistant remembers in Profile > What I remember.
Update your details in Profile, and replace or remove your resume.
Turn notifications off in Profile > Notifications, and unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
Delete your account and data anytime in Profile > Settings > Delete account and data.
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your information, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. Contact us to make a request; we'll verify it's you before acting.

8. Security

We protect your information with measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, and limits on who can see data. No method is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
